Indian Ceramics Asia Rebrands as ceramics India, positioning the exhibition as a broader, future-ready platform

GANDHINAGAR, INDIA Indian Ceramics Asia, India’s only B2B trade fair for the ceramics and brick industry, has been rebranded as ceramics India, marking a strategic expansion of the platform at a time when the sector is looking for wider opportunity, fresh demand drivers and stronger future relevance.

The next edition under the new identity will be held from 3–5 March 2027 at the Helipad Exhibition Centre, Gandhinagar, Gujarat.

The rebranding reflects a deliberate shift in positioning. While the exhibition will

continue to focus on its core strengths across ceramics and bricks, the new identity will create a future-ready platform to support the growth of technical ceramics, advanced materials and next-generation process technologies.

ceramics India is being shaped to assist the industry look beyond current pressures by connecting established segments with emerging applications and higher-value

markets.

Under its new identity, the show will continue to serve core sectors of raw materials, equipment, machinery, plant engineering and production technologies for tiles, sanitaryware, bricks, etc., while creating stronger visibility for high-performance ceramic applications in electronics, electric mobility, aerospace, defence, medical technology and energy.

The repositioning also brings the event closer to a more structured “cluster-show” model, aligning it with the logic of leading global industry platforms. By integrating traditional ceramics, technical ceramics, advanced materials and processing

technologies within one business environment, ceramics India aims to create deeper industry exchange, stronger technology transfer and more meaningful buyer-supplier engagement.

The move builds on the momentum of the 2026 edition, which brought together 250+ global brands, attracted nearly 7,000 trade visitors, and covered 9,000 square metres of exhibition space.

The organisers, Messe Muenchen India and Unifair Exhibition Service, jointly stated, “The move to ceramics India reflects where the market needs the platform to go next.

Our focus on our core ceramics base remains central and will continue to define the scale of the exhibition. But the industry is also evolving, and the platform must evolve with it. By bringing technical ceramics and advanced materials more clearly into the fold, we are creating a stronger, more future-ready business environment — one that supports the existing industry while also opening the door to new technologies, new applications and new growth opportunities.”

Organised by Messe München India and Unifair Exhibition Service, ceramics India will continue to serve as the country’s dedicated B2B trade fair for the ceramics and brick

industry, now with a wider role: to strengthen the traditional market while helping shape the next phase of India’s advanced ceramics opportunity.
